Blueyonder cable modem-> dlink504 router?

I used to have freeserve 512k ADSL and now upgrading to by 2mb cable.

How to I set the 504 router to use the cable modems connection,i nstead of its own? (ADSL line unconnected...)

I thinkit would be easyer if Icould set each pc's gateway to the modems IP, but I dont know how to find it out... but I do have the mac address of the modem.. if that helps?

Im not sure you can make adsl routers gateway things work with cable modems....
does it have an ethernet wan port?

You need a router without an ADSL modem built into it.
