    Just use proper network cable !

    Believe it or not, dad did this.

    He had a 2nd phone line installed into the kitchen when he was with telewest

    he had his desk set up in the corner where the phone point was, he increased the size of the hole where the telephone cable was and put a network cable threw it and upinto the kids room
