    Need a Cheap Router :(

Hi, I want to purchase a router but the ones I have seen don't contain a ADSL modem, so how would I go about connecting a USB adsl modem to it.
I have also seen this router, what would this router require:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=48449
what is this one like and will it mean I all I need to do is connect my PCs to it and off I go with always connected internet
I want on because Im gonna be getting a PS2 network adapter so will that work with it, I also have a crossover cable atm, will that work with the router?

Erm, that cheap router DOES contain an ADSL modem; the ebuyer ones are supposed to be good functional little boxes. You wouldn't need any additional kit beyond some Cat5 cable. I'm not going to swear that your existing crossover would work, since some routers will autodetect whether a cable's cross- or through-wired and others won't. As for your PS2 then it should connect fine, but maybe someone who's more of a console bunny would be better able to advise whether you'd need to open any ports on it for online play.

Well, I haven't used that model, but with most ADSL modem/routers, you'll need to provide the router with any login details (username/password, that sort of thing) and also check to see what settings need to be set for the type of ADSL (encapsulation and stuff). When that's done, you can just plug in and go.
