Why not run regcleaner, to remove any redundant registry entries?

Tried that the other day Johnnyboy, no good either.

Tried using the Winsockfix for XP, no good, tried upgrading to SP2, still no good.

Gonna wait till I got my broadband in (Yes, I live in a cave where we still use ISDN ) and then do a complete reinstall I reckon.

It wouldn't be your host file would it????

For XP:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS

Have a look in this file and see if the Dell site is listed...
