Yeah but hasn't the BT broadband range got a pityful useage limit ?

    /Me checks

Yeap - btbroadband has limits of 1 Gb per month on a 512 Mb line ( WTF !!! I send more than that in photo's ) and 15 Gb "monthly" allowance on the 2 Mb lines.

I've just cancelled my Bt broadband.I got a email a month ago off them saying sorry but my line was unable to be upgraded any further and 512kb will be my max.So here I am a month later and they've still charged me £26.99 for this months bb.I've a seen their 1mb packages advertised on tv for £17.99 and I'm paying £26.99 fo0r half the speed.I rang bt up today so ask why I was still being charged £26.99 only to be put on hold for 45 mins when I decided to hang up.So now i've just ordered Telewest 2mb for £35 a month.

I got upgraded to 2Meg with a 15Gb monthly allowance, but I've run over a couple of times and didn't get charged. I would swap ISPs, because BT's customer service is beyond a joke, but the parents charge it through their work, who only work with BT, but I suppose we can just buy more bandwidth

The cheaper BT broadband is the 1Gb/month package, for them folks who want broadband because its the cool thing...

Go with Nildram. £25:99, 2mb and 50 gig allowance which rolls over if you don't use it. Between midnight and 8 am it's uncapped

    Go here

    im backing skimdark here

i have had nildram 512k/s for around 15-20 pounds (have forgotten exact price at the moment) for around 3/4 of a year now

have no complaints whatsoever except once when one of there people cut the line just up the road and cut us off, they still fixed it same day though!

they are upgrading us for 2 pounds extra to 2mb/s in a month

    great guys nildram are!
