Can't connect to a web site

I have NTL cable and two computers connected to a router which is connected to the cable modem.

For some weird reason, I can no longer connect to a web site I visit regularly.

It's a fresh install of Windows 2000 Pro about three weeks ago, I.E. 6 and I get the fairly standard message "cannot find server or DNS error". The problem started four days ago.

I've tried it from the second computer - same problem.
I connected my machine direct to the cable modem in case it was the router - same problem. I've never had a virus and I checked Internet Security in case, somehow, this site had become an excluded site - no.

I checked it on my brother-in law's machine - he lives about two miles away and uses an NTL dial-up cinnection - works just fine. It works just fine from my office machine.

    Anyone any ideas?

Sounds like a problem with NTL to me. Currently there's a couple of websites I'm having real problems with it.

Best place to check is this forum.

Alan - any chance you can let us know what the problem was or post me a link? The reason I ask is because I've been having a very similar problem with NTL and it's driving me mad.

    Cheers

    just change your dns server
