    Smile Zen Reduced Prices

From June 1st, Zen are knocking off £5 a month from the 1Mbit connection, and £10 a month from the 2Mbit connection

So if you're on 1Mbit, you can either get a "free" upgrade to 2Mbit, or save a fiver.. Bargain!

I've upgraded already, and it does make quite a difference, especially to my vnc connection

(Allen - that was also the reason why my net connection went a bit nuts last night, that was when the upgrade went through )

well, if you stay on 1meg, you just pay £5 less, but if you upgrade to 2meg you'll pay the same as you were before, so effectively free (you will get charged £17 for the regrade to 2meg though, unless Zen spot this and make a bit of a promotion out of it )

Ahh, that was where you disappeared to!

I wouldn't mind a cheaper line rental tbh, the speed (1meg) is fine as it is!

The regrade fee is what Zen get charged by BT, so it's not really Zen's fault.
