Two pc wireless router network setup?

I have two pcs at home, both connected wirelessly to a belkin wireless modem/router. Both computers are able to access the internet just fine through the router.

However, I want to be able to network my pcs together so that they are able to see each other and can share files between them.
I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to networking, so I need to know what I need to do to be able to get this to work.

Easiest way is to put them both in the same workgroup and have use an account on both machines with the exact same username and password. Then (assuming you are an admin) you should be able to access folders using \\computername\c$ for the c drive etc etc. Once you have that working it's easy to setup shares with computer management and map them do a drive letter.

You might need to allow filesharing if you have any antivirus/security software installed.

Using \\'computername'\c$ gives me an error message saying the network path was not found.

Oh, and I have enabled file sharing and have a Shared Documents folder. I haven't yet set any drives to be shared.

Have you got both pc's in the same workgroup? can you ping the opposite computer using it's name and/or ip address?

Just run windows network connection wizard on both PCS and set up a shared documents folder.
