GPRS Problem ...

I'm on holiday at the moment, surfing the net via GPRS on my phone connected via bluetooth to my laptop.

When I'm in strong signal areas its great, everything works as it should etc. but the place we are staying (half way up a mountain - views are better than stunning) the signal is pretty junky, I have to put my phone in just the right place etc. ... surfing web pages still works okey although MSN is just totally dead, it won't sign in I've noticed I seem to have sent huge ammounts more than I've recieved (at the moment its around 400KB down and 70KB up, just for going to HEXUS), normally its much more the same kind of value.

Could it be I have uploading problems when my connection is dodgy?

Help me I can't be bothered with going to the nearest town everytime I wanna go on MSN, lol.

I don't know the answer, but:

Isn't typing into MSN a bit hard and slow on a phone?

Do you have another handset to try it with, i dont know if the gprs is actualy faulty its proably just down to insufficient signal strength to transmit data effectively. Try a signal booster.

OK, sorry. I obviously didn't read it properly. I've woken up now, and realised the error of my ways .
