i have set the wireless up on my lapton and it seemed to install loads of crap, which i don't mind as it's a work pc.. but i don't want that on my own computer does anyone know how i can connect with out having to use the software?
it auto picks it up but won't connect or ask me for the key?
i have the liveBox contraption from wannadoo. It does seem to install alot of crap. Think you can get around it with xp service pack 2 using the wireless network setup wizard in the control panel.

it's rubbish! it added six items to my startup! i just went and brought a wireless router and will use that! not best pleased with them! makes a nice light though!
