How do I "undo" a network?

How do I "undo" a network?

Was playing around the XP network setup wizard and suddenly have found that its taken over my wired network as a wireless ones, with an additional "internet gateway" icon instead of just the normal ethernet one.

How do I undo this / cancel this network I've setup?

BTW, I don't have any system restore pooints.

What you've done is selected internet connection sharing. Just re-run the network setup wizard and you should be fine.

    Hope this helps

I think you can just select the internet gateway and press delete!

Failing that, go into network connections, open the properties page of the connection that's shared, go into advanced and deselect the "Share This Connection" box.

Yea, only re-running the Network Setup Wizard and selecting the correct options will reconfigure his connection back to what he had before, where as deleting it will simple remove the icon and leave most settings unchanged
