I signed up to a domain, and webspacwe through UKREG.com, and the webspace comes from fasthosts.

I store all my personal photos (holidays, nights out, etc) on it, and have had no problems.

I pay about a tenner a year for the .com domain name, and £4 a month for webspace. Have about 500Mb on it.

I use dreamweaver, and sometimes flash for web design, and recommend photoshop and imageready for web graphics.

maybe to late but it may be worth getting a host with cpanel/fantastico it has a feture that allows you to easily install pre made scripts like post nuke, mambo, os commerce etc.

all of them have shed loads of free templates, and can be modded to how you want. It may be worth looking at http://www.mamboserver.com/ to see if it can do what you want.
