    Please Advise

I am going to setup a 'Belkin' wireless router, ADSL, on a pc and a laptop. I want to be able to use the printer from the laptop when in a different room. What do i need to do to activate this please. Do i need to install the printer driver on both machines, etc etc? Thanks

setup the printer on one machine and share it out, then set it up as a network printer from your laptop.

Once you have it installed goto Printers and Faxes in Control Panel, right click the printer and select Sharing - all done from there. Once shared goto you laptop and click start>run and type \\hostname_of_pc_it's_installed_on and press enter - you should then see a window with the shared printer - right click and connect.

On the computer with the printer attached go
    start
    settings
    printers and faxes
select the printer right click and properties
    select sharing tab
in here give it a name.
    ok out.

    On the networked computer go
    start
    setting
    printers and faxes
    add printer
    select network printer
(browes if you don't see it)
It may ask for driver disk or may work automatically

Hopefully you should now be able to print across your network

Thing is, got to get the ADSL router / modem working first!! Having problems with setting it up!! It is a Belkin. I think i may need to start Internet Explorer and type in the IP address that came with the router to configure it? Is that right? I am on AOL.

Yes thats right in there will be a section for you to input your AOL details but this would be for internet access only. You need to run the networking wizard on both PC's as well once this is done so that they can access the internet.
