ADSL headache.

Im looking to get ADSL for my gf's place but I'm stuck as to who to go with.

I have looked at loads of different companies mainly on adslguide but cant
work out which cheap deals are actually any good.

I remember reading on here about e7even going tits up a bit not to long ago.
Anyone who uses them how is it nowadays?

Basically these are my requirements, 1 Mbps or 2 Mbps ( I think I can only get 1 Mbps
there though ) at least 20 GB data transfer for under £20 a month.

Im a bit wary of companies like E7 and euro1net who seem to be selling for less than
what it costs them in the hope that the wholesale will go down.

so far ive looked at these cheapo ones E7, euro1net, newnet, tesco and demon,

I reckon that i will not need a 12 month contract but was wondering if its possible to
transfer payment / responsibility to someone else. So I say initially pay for euro1's
24 month package for £240 move out and transfer it to who ever moves in. Charging
them a bit to get some money back.

If you transfer the phone line toi someone else when you mov, your ADSL connection is automaticaly cancelled.

You might look at metronet - but generally you get what you pay for - most of the cheap ISPs lock you into 12 month contract. If you are only going to be there for 6 months, it might e worth paying more per month, but only have to give a month's notice.

I cant get any unbundled broandband where i am, and I'll be going to live back in japan
again so transfering isnt anygood.

Those people still on E7 whats it like nowadays?

I think i will find something relatively cheap and pay for a whole year, I reckon i will be using
it for at least 8 months could be longer.
