Paul, Moby, lol that's awesome. Keep up the good work!

Hey Peterb, Badass, that Linux idea is appealing for a low-cost solution for DNS, although it's probably not intended for the professional environment.

EtheAv8r, I'll definitly look into the Standard edition when my 180-day trial expires. Right now it's the Enterprise edition, but it's good to know that you can easily get by on less features.

One thing I want to warn you about is my bad experience with RAID-1. True, it's great in case one drive breaks, but if the drive's have lasted past the first few weeks without problems, they will probably last you another 5 years just fine.

However, built-in RAID controllers are VERY prone to screwing up, if the power goes out or something. this has happened to me and my friends over five times in the last three years, and I have since given up. Now, if I'm going to use RAID, it's RAID-0, 5, or 6 (on a HARDWARE add-in card) due to the performance and space increase over RAID-1, and I ALWAYS backup on a separate hard drive that can be turned OFF or unplugged.

I don't worry about my master drive, that I frequently RAID-0 b/c I can always reformat, but I save all my personal files in two places (slave & backup)
