IF the fault is caused by BT wiring then in most cases they will sort it out. Its only when it becomes too expensive that they mess about.
I`m a bit drunk atm but if someone can post in this thread over night I`ll post more info on what happens when i`m in work tomororw
We can get a decent BT engineer to repair issues if its Bts fault and its not gonna cost loads.
if ya cant post over night i`ll post more info tomorrow when i`m not drunk
I have to agree 100% here, I saw Max advertised on the Nildram site and thought "Cool, 8mbps for the same price", so I ordered and during my "stabilization period" I was getting constant line drops. After the stabilization period I still got them, luckily though Nildram had received complaints about Max from more than just me, so allowed me to change back to my rock solid 1mbps for free .
Max has been a real head ache for us at Zen since its release.
The annoying thing we found was that Bt staff training for max was practically non-existent. It was a bit depressing when we would ring Bt to explain what the fault was after having it passed back 5 times only to be told the person on the other end of the phone didnt know what max was
The other fun issues we have with Bt are some engineers.
We have had BT engineers tell the customer the reason they arent getting sync on a BT wholesale circuit is because zen are blocking them.
My favourite though was a BT engineer who said that It was Zens Cisco gateways that where blocking his connection. The only problem with this is that we use juniper gateways. So wondering where the engineer got the ciscos from we checked the BT Network diagram and right before connections get onto collosus Bt use Ciscos
