Is Namesco owned by a third party like Nildram is now owned by pipex?

No. Namesco are a seperate entity, and their CS is awe inspiring (plus it is all based in the UK). Sent an email at 8pm, not expecting a reply before the next day, and I got a useful reply (written by a human being) within 2 hours!!!

However I think that NDO and Namesco are now the same company if that makes any difference (however I believe that Namesco is the owning company) but I cannot find any reference to any company owning them.

Good Prices @ 24.99 per month for 60gig cap on 8meg line (unlimited off peak) very useful control panel to track your usage and the contract is on a month by month contract (however if you cancel the contract before 12 months you are liable to pay £55ish - not the remaining amount like with many others)

just incase youw anted to know more, go to adslguide.org and go have a nose on their forums, they have a special section for namesco and other main isps.

namseco have had some problems recently, but they have been 100% honest about it and as far as i can tell it has been rectified (they had to order more capacity from bt - which is no bad thing )

We normally get 3-6.5meg and pings will go to 40ms on a wireless router (possibly lower, but as i am sharing the connection with my house mates it is impossible to make a perfect test)

    hope that helps
