Seriously, if you can't type in English why bother. Your computer doesn't have predictive text, no need to type like it.</oldPersonRant>

I've used Netgear for around 5-6 years now and, with the exception of the SC-101, have never had any problems. The support in particular has been excellent. That being said, if you're not having the same experience then I recommend Belkin and Linksys. It's worth a look at the PC Pro roundup http://www.pcpro.co.uk/labs/145/wire.../products.html

Not your not lucky...I have deployed 8 Netgear DG834G routers in the past 4 years and all still going strong.

My own (making 9) is the higher specced one (WG834?) and thats been fine for 6 months.

I always recommend Netgear, good quality and reliable but maybe I have been very lucky and got 9 good ones!?

Perhaps so - i've had three personally with various states of death/dying/locking up/failing to sync/crappy firmware and about as many with friends (also on their way out). I suppose it depends on how heavily you use them, where they're situated etc. but I don't regret taking the Draytek plunge..
