I’m considering buying a Thecus 2100 NAS Yes box, for storage of music, photos and home DV.

Does anyone here have any active experience of using these? If so I’ve got a few questions –

Are they worth the £220 price tag, given you can get similar NAS enclosures for about £120 (the only difference being the lack of RAID functions)?

How quiet are they? – It’s going in my living room by my HTPC.

Would anyone using any alternative NAS devices be able to recommend them?
