Modem reports "Failed to get IP address"

What did you have to do to get it working?

Erm, tried it with the Belkin router I borrowed and it just 'worked', went back to the Voyager and it worked also.

Funnily enough, the neighbours had the same problem on New Years Eve, perhaps it was to do with excessive load on the exchange/DSLAM or something, not really sure tbh.
