Regarding the noises. Both of the boards that Ive had, made the noise, and the last one was quite loud.

I do agree that it has real potential though, if they can fix the quality control issues and come up with a rock solid bios, it'll be a contender, but at the moment, I still prefer the P5B deluxe.

don't listen to clunk, it's just that clunk and commando doesn't go together very well. Me and others on the other hand work very well in combination together.

Joking apart, it is quite disturbing to read about the lack of Q.C. on a board costing about 120 quid and to be honest that a- bit quad does not seem to be any better atm.

they don't seem to be anywhere near as picky as the Commando & certainly not as noisy :tongue:
Yes, some of the BIOS can use a bit of polishing around the edges (& is getting it) but most of the problems are no different than those on many 965 boards - they pretty much all revolve around the addon IDE controller.
