    Laptop Advice

can anyone suggest a laptop for around £700 that would be fairly decent for gaming?

    i'm looking ideally for:
    core 2 duo
    1gb Ram
    DVD writer

    and a decent dedicated gpu

    any suggestions?

Not had personal experience but i am going to buy one.. they have a forum...i have a link on my home pc so will post that tonight.

PcPro have reviews for them and they are very good.

    http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/87351...chString=zepto

older spec but it gives you an Idea.

One thing I heard is if you offered a slot loading dvd writer...dont have it as its not very good..

There will always be advantages to buying dells due to the onsite warranty you can get...apparently there a few revisions of the 6214w that overheat under heavy loads i'm sure those sort of problems are getting ironed out over time.

But with any laptop I would use a laptop cooler because they all got hot after intesive use.
