If you want tidy, go for that new Corsair one that you can remove the leads from.
I have a 680w HiperPower, its SLI ready and not too bad a price. Or you could get the slightly smaller 630w HiperPower and that would suffice.

Dunno. No stealth bays, no filter over the front intake and a bloody great hole in the back unless you use two PSUs. And it's a rip-off price over here compared to what it's selling for in the US.

Ive read a few different things about the pci-e 2 standard, so I'm not so sure that they can just do extra wires for them, something about a monitoring wire. We will see.

Something to do with the PCI-E 2 standard not being properly finalised yet. It may be a load of tripe though

Looks like they revised it since the review I read. Where did you get yours?

I would prefer they ironed it out totally rather than rush it like the 8800 and have a lack of drivers etc...

Just wish they'd hurry their ironing up!

    Galaxy is better PSU.
    1. I wouldnt user a Hiper. Regardless of whether the range is any good. Some of the previous models were poor (580 TypeR springs to mind) sowhy risk using one with incredibly expensive parts.

    2. As good as the Corsair is (very very good imho), i dont think its a good choice for very high end PC's with dual 8800's/Quad Core etc etc.
The Galaxy is designed to take the strain of the best of the best...The Corsair isn't!
