    id say get all the stuff you want backed up and do a windows rebuild

    I may just have to do that in the summer, why do PCs just seem to slowly stop working with age?

    I would go for a 500GB, thats fast become the sweet point for good value - get a samsung, nice and quiet and cheap too

    Most 320GB drives have the advantage of utilising only two platters which allows slightly quieter cooler operation. The 320GB's are probably the cheapest by a small margin.

    I agree with nvening that Samsung's are great drives (gonna get a 500GB one myself probably). Seagate is the fastest, but also the noisiest and loud.

    I got a 320GB Samsung drive, runs very quietly and I'm very impressed with it

    Perhaps use driver cleaner pro on the graphics driver and then reinstall it? Dunno if it'll do much but worth a try.
