I'd get that ballistix at that price.... OC's well because of the chips it uses (D9s). Dunno much about Dabs though

    Unhappy

    And how is it performing?

Wish I had ordered from Dabs over the weekend too while they were doing free shipping over £99.

Surprising how other e-tailers are able to sell products cheaper than the company whose product it is i.e. Crucial want £150 for the same RAM Dabs are selling for £125!

Only placed the order today so no ideas yet. Think the RAM was even cheaper before the weekend, think it was £115 but didn't have the go ahead to order it then.

Still haven't received the RAM as the NB fan I've ordered is out of stock but just noticed today the price for the Crucial Ballistix 2gb RAM has once again dropped down to £115, around £119 inc delivery.

    Question

Nice spot! So tempted to order the Ballistix from Dabs now.

Anyone any idea what, if any, difference there is between these two:

    http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpar...967860A5CA7304

    http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...specifications

According to Crucial's RAM selector feature the top link is definately compatible with my Dell Dimension 9200 desktop, the Dabs one I'm not 100% sure about.

Look the same to me from the description, both PC26400, DDR2, NON-ECC, Unbuffered and the timings are the same.
