    Shuttle SN25P + Hard disk

Unfortunately I had to suffer with ye olde "delayed write failed" errors under Windows when I had my Maxtor 250GB SATA disk in my Shuttle. I had to revert back to my Seagate IDE 120GB hard disk because otherwise I'd lose all my data on the partition of which Windows was installed under.

What I want to know is whether anyone here has a) got around this problem (the Internet has hundreds of different reasons it could happen) and b) if anyone has a large SATA hard disk in a Shuttle SN25P?

    Cheers

Have you replaced the original SATA cables that came with it ?

The SN25P is an nForce4-based box; NF4 has an issue with Maxtor SATA drives. Got around it on my NF4 boards by turning off command queueing on the SATA channel that the Maxtor lives on via device manager.
