I'm just curious, have any of you actually got a 680i and vista 64bit working with everest?

Wouldnt work for me Same result as pcwizard with static/odd looking temps.

I've dumped it for now, too much bother

I don't own a 680i, 975x for me, but not had any problems at all with it and Vista x64, nor have friends using P965.

Thanks, but the problem appears to be 680i and vista 64 together

You right click on the TAT icon, click on properties then click on compatibility then check the box saying run as administrator and then it should work.
