RAZER KRAIT MOUSE & Wolf King TIMBERWOLF keyboard

I am now lucky enough to have tried both of these.

Zak is not a person who gets excited about expensive Mice, but I do love a good keyboard.

Well, for GAMING this Timberwolf is awesome on the left hand side of the keyboard.
but typing this post is arduos, as the keysd are all bunched up and the space bar is loud, and horriby clicky, and the arrow keys are down on the far bottom right and I keep changing position on the post I'm typing.

But the left hand side is lovely to game with. really really nice. The sheer amount of buttons is incredible. I've just flown through two GRAW levels that I've been struggling with, and in no small art its because I can change postion (prone, standing for run, dive etc) so much faster with all the other key configs in equally easy positions. It is a truly ideal invention for gaming.

I may try the gamepad only bit, and go back to my old keyboard.

It's prolly just me being an old man, unable to accept change, but as I use keyboard all day to type letters, emails etc, I dont want to have two sets of keyboards in my "muscle memory" and the Page Up/Down, and Backspace are all messed up on the typing part.

But the Razer Krait....now THIS is serious. 4 times faster (ie its too bloody fast on my original windows settings and I needed to knock XP right back)

It is lovely. It's as nie as the best ball mouse I've ever used, but with no clogging.

Its got really nice rubber grips on either side, and the wheel moves through loads more "clicks" so it's much better for gaming (is use it for loads od stuff in various games)

I'm quite shocked how nice it is actually. It has helped in GRAW a fraction, (but mainly the keyboard made the difference as I was struggling to change stance quickly enough and keep other key strokes in reach)

Even is Windows apps and non gaming. I just used it in PaintshopPro and it's ability to allow fine movement of trimming is shocking. My cheapo mice before realy dont touch this.

Anyone else got either of these?

Just took delivery of the DeathAdder.
Very comfortable and fast without being stupidly fast. Uses the 3G sensor so no skipping.

    OK, this is the DADDY!!
    WOLF KING

Heavy, nicer buttons than the Timberwolf, F keys around the edge, Volume and Esc key, silent and lovely.

Chrome edge, USB, so it plugs in along with my curreny keyboard for gaming and pops straight off when I'm done.

    And it's incredibly lovely

    Well pleased

    That looks...totally stupid.

    IBM Model-M all the way.

Never liked Razer mice, always found them really uncomfortable. Not found a mouse yet that can beat the Logitech G5.
