Recomment a cheap laptop

Hi all,

My Dad is looking for a new cheap laptop. It will need to run Windows, do general browsing, run a webcam, and do presentations. So, nothing really flash. He wants to spend as little as possible, I would say max of £400. What can you recommend within that budget?

Just got an Inspiron 1501 for my sister, £329 to start, we took it to just under £400 by upping the warranty and upgrading the battery. Worth a look?

1.7 celeron and 512mb of ram...with vista....i'd rather use DOS..i'm setting up a laptop with that in xp at the moment and its killing me.
