Cheapest DIY dual Freeview DVR PC

I've been playing about seeing how cheap a DVR can be built on current prices and taking advantage of googles £10 of for every order over £30 and have managed to come up with the following:-

I've ignored the issue of noise from fans etc... and I've not looked in detail as to whether all the components are compatible with each other plus savings could be made if a smaller HD was used or dvd writer taken out.

Can anyone knock it down, get it cheaper

Can it be done for less based on an AM2 system? Just asking as CPU power really isn't that important.

Which MCE will you run? 2005 or Vista? I'm trying an ATI card with my Vista system tonight as nVidia's drivers are stopping it from sleeping/resuming correctly.

Yeah, an X2 3600+ with one of the Asus Pundit AM2 Barebones, P1 AH2 with onboard gfx or P3 AE5 and a low profile gfx car maybe (would look nice next to your TV and everything!).

How about 2 £30 single tv cards with a £10 saving on each rather than the dual tuner? And again 2 £30 hdds?

If hes using Vista then both tuners need to be on the same card. If hes using MCE he can do as you say above.

It's £10 per order over £30 including vat but excluding delivery. Everyone's looking for the free postage items, but with supersaver delivery it's still worth splitting.
