    Thermal paste

    Hello,
    I just bought a AC freezer 7 pro and it comes with some thermal paste on it. Shall i remove this and use OCZ Ultra 5+ or keep the stuff thats on there?

    Keep the stuff thats on there, its arctic MX-1 which has been shown to be as good as silver 5 on that cooler. Also it is probably applied nice and evenly so should give you good contact and an even spread. If you need to reapply the heatsink you will need to clean it all off and then apply some other paste.

    I removed mine and replaced with AS5 but that was before I read that the supplied paste was AS MX-1!

    I'd leave it alone.
