I wasn't too impressed with Akasa Amber 120mm I had, it didn't compare well to the Sharkoon 1000 or the other quiet fans I had at the time.

Oh almost forgot, my favourite fan at the moment is the NorthQ 120mm Nano Cermaic Bearing fan - very very quite (at the expense of airflow).
Yes that seems about right to me too. Although the difference must be just a few db or so because both fans seem amazingly quiet. Infact, the only way I can even hear them really, is to put my ear right by them. I love them I just wish the air flow was a bit better. Like I said, although the sharkoons are amazingly quiet, the airflow is a bit of a let down. I was probably expecting too much to be honest, but like I said, its about as forceful as a baby's breath

I think the Yate Loon SL is maybe a wee bit better, but its still pretty small - like a gentle summer's breeze or something I'd definitely pick the Yate Loon SL though, out of choice. Its quiet enough that I cant hear it unless I put my ear right next to it, and yet it moves slightly more air than the sharkoon1000.

I am so happy they are all fairly cheap too. They are so cheap, that if they started to pick up gunk and stuff, and werent as quiet in a year, I would be happy to just buy another pair. (Only about a tenner).

The next fan I buy, will be the Yate Loon medium or high speed. I think this slow one is a bit too slow for my CPU. So Im going to get a medium/fast one, and then let the CPU manage its speed.
