Spec me a gaming system for under £950 please!

Just to bring this thread back to life. How would you spend £950 on a gaming system to be built from the ground up.

Has to have monitor (preferably 19" widescreen), has to have wirless keyboard and mouse and needs speakers and wireless capability. The first post has my rough idea from am onth or two ago, but obviously prices are ever-changing.

Yeah, if you are not overclocking then this should be your minimum CPU at the moment. Great value

And if this is to be a gaming PC you want to make the 8800GTS 320Mb a minimum too. Anything less is a false economy as you will only want to upgrade the second Crysis comes out

Probably couple these to a P35 board, the gigabyte ones seem popular and good value, with 2GB Ram if you go 32bit windows and 4Gb RAM with 64bit windows if you can afford it. 500Gb hard drives are the best value too at the moment, and will last you a while. The rest is pretty much unchanged from before.

Though it might push you overbudget, a 22inch widescreen will feel much much nicer than a 19"... (and the 8800GTS will have no problems with it)
