YEah, the Ultima-90 looks pretty amazing, especially if you are concerned with size and/or weight.
Anywhere got them in stock?

Well, the noise part is pretty much dependant from the fan you use
But from what I understand, the Ninja do excel with very slow undervolted fans due to the wider spacing between the fins. Under those circumstances, it is still the reference cooler to be beat.
Other towers have a better potential with faster fans - I do not hear of people using the Tuniq passive (on a high end CPU) - something the Ninja is known for. Similarly, I wonder how the Thermalright Ultima 90 copes with undervolted fans.
I must say I had a large scythe cooler on my old machine and th eweight caused the cpu when I had a look, to not make full contact on the highest side up, as the weight pulled the heatsink over to one side. You could tell as the thermal paste as a different shade and texture on one 1/3rd of the cpu. I would think about supporting the weight if you can. Should be easy to make up a bracket?
Thermalright Ultima-90i CPU Cooler (Socket AM2/LGA775) ...and Scan has them pre-order.
