    Joy pad for PC

Hi all was looking for a joypad , or gamepad to use with my pc, would mainly be used with emulators, can anyone recommend a decent one, preferably with analogue and something that doesn’t break the bank, i remember seeing a converter for about 10pounds on play.com's website which would let you connect up a playstation joypad to a usb port but I can't find it now, does anyone have any info on this?

    As always thank you

i have a EMS2 USB converter from lik-sang, was about £8.50, i use it for a dance mat but it should work for any playstation(2) controller, there are many similar products out there, and you can get the equivalent for gamecube and xbox controllers.

It's £6.99 inc. I have one and it works a treat for both PS1 and PS2 pads!

I have fondled a few console control pads, but nothing comes close to the build quality and general excellence of the Logitech Wireless Rumblepad - this controller is so superb it caused several days over xmas devoted to playing Need for Speed Underground to completion.

... for a change the logitech drivers are excellent and the pad is ultra-responsive and infinately customisable - you can set up profiles and bind any keyboard key to this thing - including binding thumb-sticks to mouse x and y axis. I can't recommend this enough. I think you can get one for less than £30 from PC World - I think they may even be on offer @ £19.99 but don't quote me.
