    Thats a pretty good option posted by k0, but still doesnt achieve the max out of the 939 board methinks.

    Some, including mine clock to 3Ghz They're Toledo cores and generally clock very well.

    and when you can get an AM2 6400+ for £130, and a 4800+ for £64 you have to wonder whether its worth carrying on or better to jump the 939 ship now.

    Yea, seems to me as If I'm gonna hold out till early next year, get some money over Christmas and then build myself a brand new rig.

    Yep for sure! I guess the idea of the motherboard swap and complete software rebuild that most peeps are holding out on.
