    How on Earth do I get the remote to work...

    hello,

    With my new system I ordered an X-fi elite pro soundcard, which comes with a remote control for the external I/O console. However, when I try to press any of the buttons, all I get is a flashing red light on the console, no other repsonse. Is there a driver I should have installed or something?

    No idea. I have an Xfi Fatal1y and it has the same remote. Back in XP days it would only work with creative software eg their media player etc. Once I got Vista I was raging too much to get the soundcard to work let alone bothering to see if the remote worked. lol.

    Your better off asking offical Creative forum, they should know what to do. =)
