    Corsair DHX - worth it?

Well, its time to choose some RAM and I'm looking at corsair modules now - anyone got any views on their 'DHX' heat spreaders? Worth the extra asking price?

Not really as the chips in that RAM don't overclock much anyway.... the dominator PC8500 and above does, but not the other stuff. They look nice though, personally I'd buy them for that reason alone

In practise RAM heat spreaders don't do much good at all, so you are only paying for the look. I can't think of any reason to buy; there are nicer looking modules out there if you really want to buy on looks.

Well, one thing I liked about the Corsair DHX stuff I got, it was dead easy to fit because you had such a large area you felt you could safely grab onto.
