Motherboard faulty?

Well i bought an asus p5n-d when it was released and all had been fine except the feedback from the sound ports, this was not an issue as i had a sounblaster 2 ZS or something like that from my old computer. Thats decided to die as far as i can tell so im back with the on board sound, worked ok for a bit but now i cant get any sound out of it, i can get the feedback but nothing else and ive tried a headset and my normal speakers. Any ideas?

ok, never mind it appears windows was pissing around with me. The wave volume somehow set itself to 0 and it appears my normal card works now..... i hate windows.

but the feedback is still there and very annoying from onboard but atleast my main card works so i can ignore that xD.

Something like this happened to me too...on XP, my wave volume used to get set at zero itself...I fixed it somehow and ive forgotten how.....*darn*..

yeh mine never used todo it but if i switch sound input on windows it will set it to 0 now which is annoying but atleast i know. ANyone know asus's customer support email adress? i managed to email them before about my cpu etc but cant find the email address anymore and i want to find out why this feedback is here.
