PSU for 9800GTX

Is a 500watt OCZ good enough? + i might buy a 9800gtx, not sure yet... i was reccomended to if i don't have a 8800gtx/s :S

yeah, 480w is more than enough..
but i was thinking ahead to once he's got himself a quad core and everything.
especially with all those HDs and god knows what else..

i felt that the molex to PCI-E adapter i got with my 8800Gt felt very cheap and not very well made..

clunk what happened to the 1000+++++ £250 jobby you had? I have a corsair 620, although I've gone through 3 of them in a year. And anyway I always though enermax made corsair psu's?

Well i might not be able to get my hands on it for a couple of weeks because it will be shipped to my home address

It was a Galaxy 1k.

I sold the 5th replacement before even trying it. It was the most unreliable PSU I've ever had. with an average of 2.5 months between failure, seems to be a regular occurance with the Galaxy/Infiniti series (x38 launch was a fun time for that), hence all the revisions just so they will work with each new motherboard as it is released.

For anyone who reads this in the future:

It turned out that Xclio 480W is good enough for a 9800GTX.

This PSU is very, very good quality for its price... (cost me about £25 iirc)

Despite being advertised as "super silent" its not... Its not loud either, but its audible at 1m away... If I had to guess I would say about 28-30 decibels

I don't think scan sell it any more though... but I am glad I bought it... It was a bargain

XCLIO PSUs are excellent.
The American absolutely love them and hold them in very high regard.

Its one of the only PSus i can think of that actually is budget but still powerful.
