    Problems after adding new memory

I have just put another 2gig of ocz reaper 1066 memory and when the computer booted the was a long scary sounding beep instead of one short one. I ran cpuz and found that it was recognising the new ram but that it was only running at 667. The overclocking i did to push the fsb up to 400 was no longer being shown and it was running at stock 333.

I am using an xfx 780 mobo with a e6850 chip. I went into the bios and it still showed the settings i was using previously. To see if it made any difference i changed the fsb slightly and this made no change in cpuz but on booting i got a windows has just recoverd from a serious error message.

I really dont have much computer expeirience and any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Re: Problems after adding new memory

No i havnt but in the bios the ram voltages had been manually input at 2.1v from when i had the system built for me. Going into the bios now it is still set at that figure but then changes i make in the bios arent having any effect. Cpuid shows the ram voltages at 1.8 currently which is too low. How can i change it?
