Question Chassis fan doesn't stop in standby mode

    Hello,

The Chassis fan doesn't stop when the computer is in standby mode, sounds weird! Or is it normal?

    MB: ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
    OS: Win XP

    Any advice?

    Thanks, Chris.

is the fan plugged into the motherboard or just a 4-pin molex from the PSU?

The fan is plug to the MB with a 3 wire plug. The PSU is also plugged to the MB with a 3 wires plug (2 wires used).
I can see the fans rpm (both PSU and chassis) in ASUS Probe utility.
