    Don't care how much it costs compared to the 280 given that I am sure nVidia will also be releasing card 3x cheaper than their flagship model. Question is, how does this card compare to what nVidia has at this price range (give or take).

    9800GT will be the competition, and nVIDIA have been fairly quiet about that one.

    2 x 4850 SLI will be around £260 and I think will push the 280 for performance... that's the real killer for the 280 (and 260).

    I've heard rumour that the 4850 is a litte starved for memory bandwidth, only being GDDR3, so I'm hoping for a good price on the 4870!
