    Suggestions for backup solution

I recently bought a Thecus 3200 and 3 Samsung disks and the Thecus just falls over too often so it's going back. As there isn't anything around for the same price and me getting to the point of waving the white flag with NAS devices I was wondering if there is a 2 or 3 disk external drive enclosure (just an enclosure as I have the disks already) that sees each drive seperatly. Really would want it with a esata connection for speed.

    Any suggestions welcome

Cheers mate thats exactly what I'm after. I didn't want to build my own for space reasons and budget to be honest.

That one on Storage Depot is OOS

    Here's another option for you: Tsunami EDATA II 3500 (2x SATA II JBOD/RAID Enclosure - with USB 2.0 + eSATA connections) - £63.99 (+ P&P)

Ahh you mean out of stock (brain not working). I've ordered it before it went out of stock.

Do you really need to have a RAID setup, as it really helps with data accessibility (i.e. no downtimes), but not in terms of reliability (i.e., it is not a backup). So maybe having an external case with just one 1TB drive, that you only plug in while making your backups would be safer?

I'm not after a RAID device. I want a caddy/enclosure that will take 2/3 disks but treat each one as a seperate drive.
