    Mouse Recommendation

The Logitech Wireless Mouse & Keyboard I got with this PC were pretty poor. The mouse was too small, crammed and hurt my arm more than my older "wireless optical mouse" which I am using now but is not officially supported by Vista. Not only that but the keyboard and mouse were actually cutting my wireless connection, or at least contributing to this happening...

So I am on an older wired MS Keyboard at the moment which isn't officially supported and the wireless optical mouse is quite slow now, missing the battery compartment and the scroll is broken.

I would probably like to stick with a Microsoft Mouse, and the mose has to be wired. I found this one which is fully Vista supported and updated with Intellipoint 6.2 software, looks like a nice mouse especially for the price.

This is probably the mouse I will go for but I am open to suggestions. Anyone got any experience with that mouse good or bad? How long should I expect the lead to be?

    Thanks.

PS - Any well priced keyboard recommendations? Wired is a must and if it's Microsoft that is a bonus (I like the hardware they offer).

Hmm okay just been looking at Scan and it says that mouse is a 1 star product, where as other such as Logitech and Razer are 3 star for only a few quid more.. Going to need some recommendations before I splash the cash!

If you want Microsoft then I've heard this one is quite good-

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_...lorer+&x=0&y=0

However the following are also very good as well-

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-B7...7587044&sr=1-1

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/RAZER-DeathA...7586974&sr=1-1

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Flexiglow-Cy...7587008&sr=8-1 (Personal favourite )

EDIT: for keyboards I personally recommend the Saitek Eclipse, you can pick it for about £20

    Re: Mouse Recommendation

Thanks Shadowmaster that black explorer 3.0 looks great, and from the reviews is just what I am looking for so far!

Just a quick question though, it says it has the option to be plugged into either USB or PS2/2 Connector - which is better? I am assuming USB 2.0 as it is surely a never technology and so on.

USB would be better. I think it comes with one of those green adaptors that convert usb to ps2 for those that don't have spare usb ports on their pc.

If it's not... you'll only need to put up with it, until such time as you buy yourself an extension cable
You'll hopefully be able to pick one up locally... but maybe you should've thought about the potential problem, before you placed your mouse order, since an extension cable could've been included in the same order

I did think about it but could find no info on the length, lucky it's plenty long enough and a fantastic mouse!
