    Yes, current amd64 motherboards carry the usual ago 8x slot. Dont know what the future holds though, wether agp will be binned and replaced completely by pci express but i wouldnt think this would happen for at least a year.

    By which point, there will then be a sucessor to the AMD 64, and we'll have a whole new bunch of questions! :/

    dont think there will be a successor to 64bit in a year, 32bit has been going for like 8 years lol.

    there will be a sucessor the a64 - amd will make a new 64bit processor i imagine in about 2 years, with a different core, but still 64 bit, like the k6, 7 and ath xps were all 32 bit, theres normally about 3 or so gens of a chip in each bittage

    I wouldn't be so sure, with Intel allready having test beds with PCIE and BTX cases. and ATi having silicon chips finished for there production R480s, and Nvidia only a few months behind with there PCIE range it maybe very soon when we see the first PCIE boards emerging, although the PCIE boards I have seen so far have all still had AGP and PCI 1.2 on them.

    korky's avatar is so nang mwah ha ha ha...

    anyway the price to perforrmance boost ratio between an amd barton 3200+ and amd 64 is not that great especially when one considers that bartons (2500+) are going for around £80, you'd be a fool to miss out...

    KEY:
    nang = fantastic/ownage/unstoppable/god like/wicked sick etc.
