    best ddr3 memory ram for $250?

    is the mhz on the ram really matter? is it mean the more the faster?
    i have an evga 790i motheboard. if i can put a little bit more over the $250 to get a really really good ram. i can considerate doing that. thanks in advance!!

    The mhz of ram is basically the speed which it can pass data between itself and the mobo (then onto the cpu), so it makes a huge diff. However 2GB of something like this , which is 2000MHz, would probably run slower than a 4gb kit like this, even though the 4gb kit is only 1333Mhz.

    I would recomend the 4gb kit (I think that £126 is about $250-300, but don't know any american sites). If you are using vista, 2gb is really a must, and 4gb the sweet spot, so i defo recomend a 4gb kit from a solid manufactuar, of 1333mhz memory - corsair, OCZ, geil , or crucial
