Different Mouse?

OK, I guess i need to find a new mouse to buy other than the Sidewinder I originally wanted...

I went to pick one up in PC World today, but its just too big! I'm looking for something a little smaller, with DPI switching (preferablly between just two settings like the IKARI SteelSeries), lightweight and 5 buttons. Needs to be under £30 if possible but I've never seen these mice so you guys will need to guide me

I would get a steel-series if only they were available £10 cheaper as OEMs like the Sidewinders.

Ok, just to clarify :

- Low/Hi DPI switching
- Light weight
- 5 Buttons (2 top, two side, clickable scrollbutton) *Would have 2 more buttons if needed for DPI macro*
- Scrollbutton that Clunks not Spins
- Under £30

OR! If anyone has a Steel Series second hand, name your price

I love my Razer Copperhead, has everything you have asked for costs ~£35

I've used the copperhead at Omega Sektor, (which I'm going to tomorrow) They're ok, but the side buttons are hard to reach/get used to.

I've decided to wait til I've got more money now and just bought The Nexos Gaming Mouse for £6.98 from ebuyer.



Its cheap and should hold me out til after Christmas as to when i can afford a good one like the Steel Series

Look at the MS Habu as its essentially a razer mouse rebadged, but uses razer drivers. Great mouse. I use the Habu mouse and Reclusa Keyboard and both are spot on

after my previous battering of all things MS i would still have to say the habu. must be the razer genes. cloth mat though, plastic is faaar to sensitive

+3 for MX518; it's really comfortable, the window switch works great with flip3d and the back/forward buttons are a godsend for general desktop work. Oh, and it's good for gaming too.
