If you want silent graphics then this isn't bad
    http://scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=860643

It's not going to be great in games but I'm sure it will hold it's own.

As for the PC the chip is the same frequency just a bit less cache.. no big loss. It's what most people over at SPCR (most anal about noise) use for their small builds and the power supply is more than suitable.

lol, sorry...thanks for all your help, i'm bearing everyone's suggestions in mind.

The tech specs for RA3 say "Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce 6800, ATI Radeon X1800 or higher end DirectX 9.0c compatible gfx card"...is there a mobo out there with onboard gfx good enough for that?

Otherwise, just need to sort out a case & psu really.

AMD based 780G or 790GX (I think it's GX) basically an overclocked 780G. Thats the best you can do but it's not as good as the above I wouldn't think.

Best to get something like the 9500GT passive.

    Okie dokie.

As for cases, what do you make of this one, it takes a matx mobo but i'm not sure if the 9500gt would fit in it? One of the reviewers says he's got a 8800gts in his

Re: Need some help picking a PC

I thought a lot about cube's when I was building my uATX. Almost wen't for one but in the end you are far better off with a uATX tower, they are almost the perfect pc case to me

If you fancy something in a different shape then maybe the NSK2480 would be better.

I also wouldn't trust an "extra value" PSU.

The graphics card will fit though if thats what you want to buy.

tbh, anything under 30cm would be fine. I was actually looking at the NSK2480 or the antec minuet 350 but I think you can only fit a low profile gfx card in them, otherwise I probably would have gone for it.

NSK2480 fits normal cards, the Minuet is low profile yeah.

Or turn the 3480 on its side
