Advent 4211/msi wind. No wireless

Don't have any wireless connection from my 4211. Doing a google it seems a common problem and everybody seems to think it's fixed after an update. The udate changes the bios version to 1.08.
Done that and it still won't work.

A few people have also suggested that changing the router channel to 1 helps, but i've only channel 6 as an option.

From where i am there should be 3 wireless networks around that it should pick up, but it hasn't got a single one.

Have also done a live update online http://global.msi.eu/index.php?func=downloadindex that was suggested for the 4211 and it said all my drivers were ok.

Anyone help?

Try pressing and holding the 'fn' key and 'f8' key together.

Not to worry, it's all sorted now. really silly actually. the channel is set to 1. Thought normally laptops set the channel automaticly?
Just advanced sttings in device manager and away it went

Ahh, they've obviously changed the design slightly, it looks like F11 now.
